Props for Yoga Volume 2: Sitting Asana and Forward Extensions

This is the 2nd volume in a series of books by Eyal Shifroni presenting the use of props in yoga practice.

This book focuses on sitting asana and forward extensions. Both standard and innovative uses of props are shown. Clear step-by-step instructions are provided along with ample photos, comments and tips.

In addition, each family of asana is preceded by a brief introduction incorporating excerpts from B.K.S. Iyengar and other yoga teachers and the author’s personal perspectives.

Eyal Shifroni is a Senior Iyengar yoga teacher and holds a Ph.D degree in Computer Science. He directs the Iyengar Yoga Center of Zichron-Ya’akov in Israel and conducts yoga workshops in Israel and around the world.
